With Love, From Brooklyn recently returned from a whirlwind weekend in San Francisco, the site of the Winter Fancy Food Show. The show is a food-lover's paradise featuring over 1,300 booths from across the country and around the world. We may represent Brooklyn’s finest, but we love the tasting, trendspotting, and schmoozing of a big trade show.
We ate, drank, and shopped our way through the City by the Bay. Here are some of the highlights of our epicurean extravaganza:
San Francisco's own Blue Bottle Coffee is the ideal way to start the day
We stumbled upon Bernal Cutlery in The Mission. Knives, like whoa.
Dandelion bean-to-bar chocolate. Felt like we were cheating on the Mast Brothers. Don't tell.
No trip to San Fran is complete without a stop at the world-famous Bi-Rite Market.
Checked out avant-garde patisserie Craftsman and Wolves. Life-altering.
Ran into the lovely ladies of Morris Kitchen at the Fancy Food Show. BK all the way!
Last meal in SF...Hog Island Oysters was a briny bivalve bonanza.
We find love wherever we go. San Francisco is no different.
Goodbye, gorgeous city. Until next year...
