I was so pleased to be featured in a round-up of Mother's Day activities on the parenting website Red Tricycle. The editor Julie Seguss chose to focus on local mompreneurs, so I was in great company with several other Brooklynites: Liz Reisch Picarazzi of Checklist Home Services, Kira Casanova of Training Wheels Stroller Fitness, Robyn Stylman and Julia Gordon of Hiho Batik, and Courtney Ebner of Norman & Jules.
I shared my Mother's Day plan to go to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which I have been doing for the past 13 years. It's my favorite day of the year with my three daughters. The garden is perfect, with everything in bloom from peonies to lilacs to bluebells. We always enjoy lunch at their yummy cafe, which serves lots of local foods we love.
